Woman arrested in Capiz concubinage case

ROXAS CITY, Capiz — Police arrested a 27-year-old woman wanted in a concubinage case in Barangay Sinamongan, Pilar, Capiz, on the morning of July 22.
Personnel of the Pilar Municipal Police Station served the arrest warrant against the suspect, identified only as alias Ann, a single resident of the barangay.
The Municipal Circuit Trial Court in the 8th Judicial Region in Calbayog City, Samar, issued the warrant in Criminal Case No. 26-16011.
The case involves an alleged violation of Article 334 of the Revised Penal Code, which covers concubinage.
The court set bail at PHP 30,000 for her temporary release.
The suspect remains in the custody of the Pilar Municipal Police Station pending her turnover to the court that issued the warrant.
