A Grade 3 pupil from Roxas City, Capiz won the 3rd National Philippines-Japan Friendship Art Contest recently.
Mayor Ronnie Dadivas congratulated Cedric John Develos of Plaridel East Elementary School after he was hailed champion of the contest initiated by the Patron of the Arts from Japan, Mr. Kenji Mori, and Department of Education.
The contest themed “Dakilang Lahi” features the visual art talents of Filipino elementary learners and celebrates the decades-old friendship of the Philippines and Japan.
“Ang akon man pagpanginbulahan sa ginikanan ni Cedric nga sanday Mr. Lloyd Develos kag Nanileth Talahuron nga lunsay man mga artist kon sa diin niya nakuha ang iya abilidad subongman sa mga manunudlo niya sa Plaridel East nga naghatag suporta sa iya,” Mayor Dadivas said.
