PSA-W. Visayas to hold 2023 Agriculture and Fisheries Dissemination Forum

The Philippine Statistics Authority Regional Statistical Services Office VI  (PSA RSSO VI) will conduct the 2023 Western Visayas Agriculture and Fisheries Dissemination Forum on 15 December 2023 (Friday) starting 1:00 PM at Diversion 21 Hotel, Iloilo City.

Mandated by Republic Act No. 10625, or the Philippine Statistical Act of 2013, PSA shall be responsible for all national census and surveys.

This includes the conduct and dissemination of agricultural statistics. Relative to this, the forum aims to present the situation of agriculture and fisheries of Western Visayas in 2022 and in quarters one to three of 2023.

It will also serve as a venue for giving due recognition to the cooperation and support of responding commercial samples and stakeholders for the agriculture and fisheries surveys conducted by PSA.

Expected participants are representatives from the Regional Line Agencies, Local Government Units, members of the Regional Statistics Committee VI, stakeholders, policy makers, and program planners both from government and private sectors, members of the academe, and the media.
