The Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) released next year’s schedules for both the men’s and women’s national teams.
PNVF president Tats Suzara confirmed that the men’s national team will be making its highly-anticipated return in the upcoming Asian Games.
After winning the historic silver medal during the 2019 Southeast Asian Games, Suzara said that the men’s national team can be lined up for the PH delegation in Hangzhou and Zhejiang, China in September.
“I think based on the criteria they’re already in. We already received the entry form by number from the POC yesterday, we are filling out that form,” said Suzara during the Philippine Sportswriters Association Forum.
Meanwhile, in the women’s national team, Suzara revealed that they are also planning to let them join in the Asian Games as well as the beach volleyball teams.
Aside from the proposed entry of the men’s and women’s teams in the Asian games, the teams will also see action in the 2022 Southeast Asian Games in Vietnam.
Also, the PNVF will organize and host three international events: The Volleyball Nations League (VNL) men and women in June, AVC Asian Cup in August and World Beach Volleyball Tour in December.
