Reflecting Christmas as a season of sharing, the Daily Guardian brought holiday cheer to 100 beneficiaries during a gift-giving activity on Dec. 13 on Guzman Jesena Street in Mandurriao, Iloilo City.
The activity benefited trisikad drivers, senior citizens, and children from nearby barangays, who received gift packs.
The gift-giving formed part of the Daily Guardian’s Christmas outreach initiative, which aims to share goodwill and strengthen community engagement through small, practical gestures.
Daily Guardian acknowledged the support of Angelina Bakeshop, Iloilo Supermart, St. Jude Consulting & System Services Inc., LJ Auto Supply, Printers Bodega, New Master Bazaar, Iloilo Izeem Commercial, and Optimized Customer Solutions Inc., whose contributions helped make the activity possible.
Community outreach activities often intensify during the Christmas season in the Philippines, when schools, civic groups, businesse,s and media organizations run gift-giving drives and charity events for vulnerable groups.
As the year draws to a close, the initiative underscores the season’s message of sharing time, kindness, and generosity with others.
