Cebuana Lhuillier Bank opens Yulo branch in Iloilo

Cebuana Lhuillier Bank (CL Bank) has expanded its presence in Western Visayas with the soft opening of its Yulo branch in Iloilo City, strengthening access to banking services in one of the region’s growing commercial and residential areas.
The new branch brings CL Bank’s nationwide network to 11 branches and marks the continued rollout of its co-located banking and pawnshop model, which aims to make financial services more accessible, convenient, and inclusive for Filipinos.
Located in a busy commercial district serving nearby residential communities, schools, markets, and local businesses, the Yulo branch is positioned to provide banking services closer to where customers live and work.
The bank said the expansion supports the financial needs of individuals, families, entrepreneurs, and workers as Iloilo continues to emerge as a key economic and investment hub in Western Visayas.
The opening also reflects CL Bank’s strategy of expanding into high-growth areas where greater access to formal financial services can promote savings, business development, and long-term financial security.
“Expanding our presence in key growth areas like Yulo allows us to bring essential financial services closer to communities that need them most. Our goal has always been to make banking more inclusive, more accessible, and more responsive to the everyday needs of Filipinos,” Cebuana Lhuillier President and Chief Executive Officer Jean Henri Lhuillier said.
The Yulo branch is CL Bank’s second co-located branch following the opening of its Balibago, Sta. Rosa branch.
Under the co-located model, customers can access banking and pawnshop services in a single location, allowing them to complete a wider range of financial transactions more efficiently.
The integrated setup is part of Cebuana Lhuillier’s broader strategy of bringing essential financial services under one roof, particularly in underserved and emerging communities where access to formal banking remains limited.
The Yulo branch offers a full range of deposit products, including Micro Savings, Cebuana Savings, Regular Savings, Time Deposits, and Checking Accounts.
The bank said these products are designed to meet customers’ day-to-day banking requirements while encouraging long-term saving and financial planning.
The branch also provides lending products, including teacher loans, business loans, home loans, and corporate salary loans.
CL Bank said the financing options are intended to support individuals, professionals, and businesses by providing access to credit tailored to different customer needs.
The expansion comes as financial institutions continue to broaden their physical and digital footprints to improve financial inclusion, a key objective of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, which has been encouraging greater access to formal financial services, particularly in underserved areas.
The bank said the opening of the Yulo branch underscores its commitment to expanding financial inclusion by bringing essential banking services closer to emerging commercial centers across the country.
A formal grand launch of the Yulo branch is expected in the coming weeks.
