BACOLOD City – The Bacolod Football League (BFL) Elite will represent this city in the 2024 Laguna Premier Cup in Sta. Cruz, Laguna on April 13 and 14.
In a press briefing last Thursday at Sanders East, Jeffrey Velez, head of the football delegation here, said the tournament is a big boost for the players to be able to have a new experience.
Velez said the players will also gain a wider exposure, considering that the tournament will be held in the national level.
The BFP Elite is composed of players from various football clubs and schools here.
They will join four age categories in the tournament. These include U8, U10, U12 kag U14.
At least 50 players from here flew to Manila yesterday for the tournament.
The teams will be under the supervision of coaches Antonio Marcon, Arlu Marcelino and Chico Valencia, while Julie Ann Masculino will serve as their general coordinator.
More than 2,000 players, coaches, and staff from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will be participating in the tournament.
