Aklan town’s ‘most wanted’ collared
The No. 1 most wanted person in Banga, Aklan was cornered by authorities at around 6:27 p.m. of June 21, 2022 at Barangay Linayasan, Altavas, Aklan.
The subject was identified as Virgilio Custodio Jr., 35, of Waling-Waling St. Barangay Poblacion, Banga.
Members of the Banga Municipal Police Station under the Aklan Police Provincial Office led the operation.
Bienvenido P. Barrios Jr. of the Regional Trial Court Branch 3 in Kalibo, Aklan issued the arrest warrant against Custodio for a rape charge on May 24, 2022. The suspect was not allowed to post bail.
Police Brigadier General Flynn E Dongbo, Western Visayas’ top cop, congratulated Banga MPS for the accomplishment.
Custodio is now in the custody of Banga police.
