Wanted persons nabbed

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Several persons wanted for rape and attempted homicide charges were arrested on separate operations Thursday.

The Sapian Municipal Police Station first collared Robert Magbanua, 43, of Sitio Agkaningay, Brgy. Bilao, Sapian town.

Regional Trial Court Judge Daniel Antonio Geraro Amular of Branch 21, Mambusao ordered Magbanua’s arrest in 2007 for rape with no bail.

Magbanua went into hiding after committing the crime in 2007. He went back home recently after sensing that his case was no longer active.

Meanwhile, the Ivisan police nabbed Marvin Antonio, 22, of Barangay Balaring; Lito Mark Guya, 30, of Barangay Agmalobo, both in Ivisan; Meydodie Guya, 52; Jolito Guya, 52; and Chris John Guya, 19, all residents of Barangay Matagnop Dao, Capiz.

The five persons are facing attempted homicide charges.

The warrant for arrest was issued by Municipal Circuit Trial Court Judge Ramcez John Honrado of Dao-Ivisan, Dao, Capiz on November 12, 2020.
