Village kagawad killed in road mishap

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A barangay kagawad died in a road crash at Arnaldo Boulevard, Barangay Baybay here early Saturday morning, Feb. 5, 2022.

The Roxas City Police Station identified the victim as Kagawad Ralph Omar Almalbis of Barangay Culasi here.

According to a certain Amarillo, a security guard of a nearby building, the victim’s pickup truck first hit a pole on the center island that resulted in his car turning turtle.

Almalbis was able to get out of his truck until he was rescued by some bystanders and taken to Roxas Memorial Provincial Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.
