ROXAS CITY, Capiz – The Provincial Vaccination Center (VaxCen) at the Poolside Pavilion Villareal Stadium in Barangay Tiza here will be temporarily closed on Feb. 1 and 4, 2022.
Based on the official statement of Provincial Health Officer Ramon Alex Nolasco, the temporary closure of the VaxCen was due to limited personnel and volunteers.
The PHO urged those who wanted to be inoculated against COVID-19 to proceed to the different vaccination sites in their respective Local Health Offices.
The VaxCen will open on Wednesday and Thursday until next week.
Meanwhile, the province of Capiz has logged 107 new COVID cases, 78 recoveries and 2 deaths.
The province now has 781 active cases, 10,407 recoveries and 480 deaths from March 2020 to Jan. 30, 2022.
The data also indicated that 93.34 percent of the active cases were mild and asymptomatic while 6.66 percent were moderate and severe to critical level.
