Uniwheels Cars Display reminded everyone that they are still a force to be reckoned with despite the shocking loss to the Asialink/ E&C Trucking two weeks ago.
They did so in dominating fashion against one of the toughest teams in the JB Amateur Basketball League, the Hiyang Filinvest, 87-56.
Their bounce back game was a message to everyone in the league that they are still the team to beat.
With the JB ABL playoffs looming, the Uniwheels squad is looking to finish strong and earn the much-needed advantage.
The Uniwheels completely overwhelmed Filinvest with their firepower, with Pusoy Arenal, Aming Doliguez, and Jan Gonzales putting on a shooting clinic.
Filinvest showed signs of equalizing Uniwheels’ scoring with their ball movement but never threatened as Uniwheels enjoyed a sizeable lead.
One key reason for Uniwheels’ wide margin of lead was their efficiency and smart shot selection, picking apart the Filinvest defense for clean looks or easy shots underneath.
Arenal was awarded as the best player of the game, chalking up 12 points and 3 boards.
