UNIWHEELS Cars Display secured their second straight win after crushing Queen’s Pension House squad, 106-67, in the JB Amateur Basketball League held at the Powerhouse basketball gym, La Paz, Iloilo City.
Both teams traded baskets in the first canto as they started out the game running and gunning.
The half ended at 39-47 in favor of the Cars Display, and things happened very quick soon as the whistle was blown to start the third quarter.
Uniwheels went on a 41-4 scoring rampage that left Queen’s behind. The spree was delivered off valiant scoring displays from Mark Ceniza and Bembo Doliguez.
Veteran Vincent Conlu tried to make a run of his own, cashing in 4 three-pointers at the start of the fourth, but Uniwheels’ lead was too much.
The Uniwheels’ size inside the paint played a big role as they bullied the big men of Queen’s for easy baskets.
Felino “Pusoy” Arenal Jr. was unstoppable the whole game, chipping in 17 big points, 6 assists, and 2 rebounds, bagging the player of the game honors.
