BACOLOD CITY — Police are investigating the death of an unidentified man who was found in Barangay Pahanocoy here on Thursday.
Police Capt. Sherwin Galupar, head of Police Station 8, said tricycle drivers passing through the area reported the incident to police.
Galupar said the man was wearing sleepwear and had injuries to his legs and head.
He said police were not yet sure whether the injuries were caused by gunshots.
Galupar said investigators are coordinating with other police stations to help identify the victim.
Police believe the victim may have been dumped in the area and killed elsewhere.
Galupar said they could not speculate further pending the investigation.
