BACOLOD City – A 23-year-old micro finance officer and her trainee were allegedly robbed by two unidentified men at Barangay West Candoni, Negros Occidental Monday, July 1.
Police records showed that the victims, whose names were withheld, were on board a vehicle when they suddenly stopped to remove a bamboo pole which was blocking their way.
However, the two robbers, who were wearing long sleeve shirts and bonnets, suddenly appeared and threatened them at gunpoint.
The robbers allegedly carted away a bag containing their collection money amounting to P10,000, and a cellular phone.
The perpetrators then fled towards the sugarcane plantation, leaving them unharmed.
