ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Two persons were arrested in a drug buy bust operation Monday afternoon at Brgy. Bailan in Pontevedra, Capiz.
The Pontevedra Municipal Police Station and the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit led the bust against Wilfredo Apruebo and Bonifacio Villaruz, both of Brgy San Jose, Roxas City.
Recovered from the suspects were the marked money, six sachets of suspected shabu, two cellphones, and a tricycle.
The suspects were detained at the Pontevedra Municipal Police Station while charges for violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were filed against them. (Photo Courtesy of PDEA Region VI – Western Visayas)
