Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) will be filed today, Feb. 21, against Marque Acap Jr, 36, of Barangay Cagbang, Oton, Iloilo and his partner Shiella Mae Devera, 27, of Railway Street, Barangay 9 here.
Acap and Devera were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation at Barangay Lawaan, Roxas City.
Recovered from the two were 3 sachets of suspected shabu, the P500 marked money, a cellphone and drug paraphernalia.
The two denied the charges saying the evidence were “planted”.
