Top Dutch envoy in town

ILOILO CITY Mayor Jerry P. Treñas and the Iloilo City Government Children’s Learning Center welcomed Dutch Ambassador Saskia de Lang at the Iloilo City Hall Lobby on Oct 9, 2019.

The Dutch Cycling Embassy delegation also accompanied Amb. De Lang in her visit.

De Lang stressed they are spreading the gospel of biking but were surprised that the City of Love is fast becoming a convert to cycle lifestyle.

She is optimistic the Ilonggos can imbibe the bike-riding culture given the right infrastructure in place for road sharing and safety reasons.
