Top Aklan Fugitives Wanted for Homicide Arrested

Two of the most wanted persons in Aklan were arrested in separate operations on the afternoon of May 15.
Alias “JM,” 25, and alias “Vin,” 28, both residents of Barangay San Jose, Ibajay, were apprehended in Poblacion, Ibajay.
JM was arrested at 1:05 p.m. by the Aklan Police Provincial Office Tracker Team and the Regional Intelligence Unit 6.
An hour later, operatives from the Ibajay Municipal Police Station and the 2nd Aklan Provincial Mobile Force Company arrested Vin.
Both suspects are facing homicide charges under Article 249 of the Revised Penal Code, filed under Criminal Case No. 17864.
The Regional Trial Court in Kalibo issued their arrest warrants on May 14, 2025.
Bail was set at PHP120,000 for each suspect.
Police said JM is the No. 4 most wanted person in Ibajay, while Vin is ranked No. 2 in the entire province.
The two are in police custody for proper case disposition.
