The TNT Tropang Giga will have to give their all and be ready for Game 2 of the PBA Finals after their management announced that superstar Ray Parks Jr. will be listed as doubtful.
Probably TNT’s most-consistent player in the entire playoffs, Parks Jr. averaged an insane 25.6 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 2.0 steals from the first round going to the finals.
During their Game 1 loss against Brgy. Ginebra, Parks Jr. remained steady in his scoring after leading TNT with 20 points, 5 steals, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists.
However, Parks Jr. suffered a left calf strain and will most likely miss in getting redemption against Stanley Pringle, LA Tenorio, and Japeth Aguilar.
“Ray has a left calf strain and is highly doubtful to play on Wednesday. We are hoping he could play on Friday,” TNT bared in their statement.
If Parks Jr. doesn’t play in Game 2, guys who are currently facing shooting slumps – especially Troy Rosario, need to step up in order for TNT to equalize the series.
