Ray Parks Jr.’s PBA bubble debut was capped-off with a dominant win and a career-night following his 40-point production against Terrafirma Dyip, 112-101 to go up 2-0 in the bubble standings.
Missing his presence during their hard-earned win against the resilient Alaska Aces squad during opening night, Parks immediately made an impact in the game with his slashing ability. Parks sliced through Terrafirma’s interior at will that put the Tropang Giga in a comfortable position throughout the game.
The crafty TNT star also shot well from the field, draining 13 of his 18 attempts while putting on a clinic from downtown converting 7 of his 10 shots.
“Well, we know that we’re still feeling it out. But we came out with great effort today. I just wanna show the hard work I put in, the team has put in,” Parks Jr. said.
TNT versatile big man Troy Rosario also filled up the stat sheet after contributing 20 points and 15 rebounds in the emphatic win.
On the other hand, Terrafirma superstar CJ Perez had a stellar debut in the bubble after leading his team with 30 points but wasn’t enough to close the gap against TNT.
During the first game, the Rain or Shine Elastopainters survived the reigning and defending champions San Miguel Beermen, 87-83.
