FIERCE competition and bragging rights.
These two always come to mind when Tekken is the subject, and both will be on full display this August 24, 2019 as part of the 82nd Charter Day.
Tekken by Bandai Namco Entertainment, is one of the most popular arcade games in the world. The Iloilo City Sports Division in partnership with Acclaim Esports and Events now brings this highly-competitive game to Iloilo City.
With the game’s repute and Iloilo City government’s strong campaign towards e-sports, Tekken’s inclusion in the Charter Day event was inevitable.
The event is co-organized by Kirvy Alcalde.
The champion will win P3,000, second placers P1,500, and third placers P500.
The tournament will be held at Diamond Jubilee Hall, Iloilo City with a maximum of 64 participants.
