BACOLOD City – Two persons believed to be members of Cuadra robbery group were arrested in a buy-bust at Purok Sigay, Barangay 2 here last Monday.
Police identified the suspects as Anthony Cuadra, 31, a street level individual, and Raymond Espinosa, 29.
Police Captain John Christopher Masangkay, head of Police Station 5, said they monitored the suspects for two weeks after they were identified by some drug suspects whom police previously arrested.
Police recovered from them 12 grams of suspected shabu worth P81,600 and the P500 marked money.
Both suspects have yet to be reached for comment.
Meanwhile, five persons were also arrested after the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Negros Occidental dismantled an alleged drug den in Barangay 5, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental last Monday.
Confiscated from them were 15 grams of suspected shabu worth P102,000, lighters, tin foil strips, cellular phone, and the marked money.
