Great beer, superb food, and good music make their way to Sta. Barbara Heights as Mercato Sta. Barbara stages its first-ever Oktoberfest this Friday, October 17, at 6:00 P.M in the town of Sta. Barbara, Iloilo.
Set in a lush, vibrant backdrop at Megaworld subsidiary Global-Estate Resorts, Inc.’s (GERI) 173-hectare integrated lifestyle community, merry-goers can indulge in Ilonggo favorites while raising their mugs to live performances headlined by talented local acts. These include Kreonz Band, Pinoy Dream Academy alum Emman Abatayo, and Eian Bryle, who once showcased his vocal prowess on Tawag ng Tanghalan and Idol Philippines.
Inspired by Boca Raton in Florida, Sta. Barbara Heights offers a tranquil, tree-lined landscape that serves as an ideal backdrop for this vibrant open-air festivity. At the heart of this blossoming community is Mercato Sta. Barbara, an open-air dining and retail destination that welcomes locals and tourists alike in a celebration of local flavors, craftsmanship, and community spirit. Its lively and cozy atmosphere, illuminated by festive evening lights, makes it the perfect venue for Oktoberfest’s blend of music, food, and merriment.
As Sta. Barbara Heights’ vibrant commercial hub, Mercato Sta. Barbara regularly hosts community gatherings and cultural performances that reflect the town’s festive character.
Mercato Sta. Barbara is open daily from 7:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M.
Sta. Barbara Heights is just a short two-minute drive from the Iloilo International Airport via the six-lane Iloilo International Avenue. Spanning a thoughtfully masterplanned community, half of the entire development is dedicated to the Sta. Barbara Heights Residential Estates—a three-phase village offering approximately 1,000 residential lots. Select lots boast scenic views of the tranquil lake beside the historic Iloilo Golf and Country Club, celebrated as Asia’s oldest golf course and a cherished landmark in the region.
