The Social Security System (SSS) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Mandaluyong Traders Development Cooperative (MTDC) as its 67th partner agent on January 23, 2020, at the SSS Building, East Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City.
Under the MOA, accredited servicing partner agents are authorized to receive and screen various application forms of self-employed, voluntary, overseas Filipino workers (OFWs), and non-working spouse (NWS) as well as benefits and loan applications of their members. They are also allowed to collect SSS contributions, loan amortizations, and other miscellaneous payments.
To date, there are 67 cooperatives and microfinance institutions nationwide who joined the Partner Accreditation Program which is facilitated by SSS Cooperatives and Informal Sector Department.
