JARO, Iloilo City – The Social Security System (SSS) has accredited Leon Small Coconut Farmers Multi-Purpose Cooperative (LESCOFAMPCO) as its newest servicing partner agent thru a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing which was held on February 6, 2020 at the LESCOFAMPCO Building in Zerrudo Complex along Lopez Jaena Street.
As a servicing partner agent, LESCOFAMPCO is now authorized to receive and screen various application forms of self-employed, voluntary, overseas Filipino workers (OFWs), and non-working spouse (NWS) as well as benefit and loan applications of their members.
With this partnership, new members and their beneficiaries may now enjoy social security protection in times of contingencies such as sickness, maternity, disability, unemployment, retirement, funeral and death.
LESCOFAMPCO is the 8th partner agent in the Visayas region who joined the SSS Partner Accreditation Program being facilitated by the Cooperatives and Informal Sector Department (CISD).
