This could be the biggest PBA trade since the Paul Lee-James Yap swap.
The San Miguel Beermen have traded No. 1 pick Christian Standhardinger for a former first pick, Moala Tautuaa.
A consistent Gilas Pilipinas member, Standhardinger came off a series-winning performance against Terrence Jones and the TNT Katropa where he played heavy minutes to successfully contain the best import of the conference.
Tautaa is emerging as a go-to guy bit by bit as he developed his outside shot and polished his moves down the block and was also a former member of the Gilas program.
Despite the trade that just happened, Standhardinger still showed up for the SEA games practice with a few of his former SMB teammates in the pool.
On October 20, Tautaa will play his debut with SMB and C-Stan will play on the 23rd of October for Northport.
