The SM National Basketball Training Center (NBTC) League, Roxas City, Capiz leg has finally begun and young hoopers trooped to the Capiz gymnasium to witness quality basketball.
Currently underway together with the NBTC-Iloilo, the NBTC tournaments will then hold their regional finals to determine who will qualify for the NBTC Nationals.
The opening day of the NBTC Roxas leg featured three blockbuster games that drew more spectators storming to the Capiz gymnasium.
In the first game, the powerhouse Hercor College Jaguars dispatched the boys from Filamer Christian University, 79-55.
The next game was a close one where College of Saint John Roxas (CSJR) got the better of Saint Mary’s Academy of Capiz, 69-58.
Don Ynocencio National High School then wrapped up day one of the tourney with a masterful display of basketball against Capiz State University, 80-57.
