The San Antonio Spurs looked invincible during an NBA regular-season interconference battle after crushing the Milwaukee Bucks by 32 points, 127-95, on March 29, 2026.
With another one-sided win over an Eastern Conference challenger, San Antonio continued to roll, extending its NBA winning streak to eight straight games to end the week with a 3-0 record.
Just like in their victory over the Memphis Grizzlies, the Spurs immediately blew the game wide open and didn’t need any warmups in the first quarter, mounting a 13-point advantage that sucked the life out of the struggling Milwaukee squad.
Despite playing in front of its home fans at Fiserv Forum, Milwaukee just couldn’t keep up with the pace the Spurs have grown used to since kicking off their winning streak on March 15, 2026, against the Charlotte Hornets.
From a half-court-oriented point of attack, San Antonio head coach Mitch Johnson transitioned to a more unpredictable, high-octane tempo, which allowed Victor Wembanyama and De’Aaron Fox to exploit their fast-break alley-oop plays to perfection.
That’s exactly what San Antonio did after the 1-2 punch connected on three fast-break alley-oops in the first quarter, setting the tone for another flawless second-frame outing highlighted by crisp ball movement and tremendous defensive communication.
The Spurs’ unstoppable first half steered them to a 22-point lead heading into the third quarter, 67-45, and they never looked back after the squad established its biggest cushion of the ballgame at 38 points in the final canto.
No matter what kind of adjustment Milwaukee made in hopes of slowing the Spurs down, including the double-big combination of Myles Turner and Jericho Sims, Wembanyama and the rest of the silver and black proved to be too much, capping off the NBA week with another dub to keep their streak alive.
Wembanyama further boosted his chances of winning this season’s Most Valuable Player award after spearheading the Spurs with an all-around effort of 23 points, 15 rebounds, six assists, two steals, and one block.
Meanwhile, two-way guard Stephon Castle erupted for a triple-double performance of 22 markers, 10 boards, and 10 dimes in just 29 minutes of playing time.
San Antonio will look to rack up its ninth consecutive NBA win on March 31, 2026, against the Chicago Bulls, while Milwaukee aims to return to the win column today, March 29, 2026, against the Los Angeles Clippers.
