ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Barangay Milibili of this city again conquered the 2019 Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA) during the Awarding Ceremony by led by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) on Oct 19, 2019 at The Manila Hotel.
City Councilor Midelo Ocampo, former punong barangay of Barangay Milibili, expected to win the award despite strong competition because of the full support of the village officials and the community.
“We are happy and the rest of the members of the Lupong Tagapamayapa of Brgy. Milibili after we got the national championship,” Ocampo said.
He endorsed the award to the new administration of the barangay, particularly the cash incentives worth 350,000 which will finance some projects of their village.
Meanwhile, aside from Barangay Milibili, the Lupong Tagapamayapa of Barangay Candelaria, Tapaz, Capiz was first runner-up for the 1st – 3rd class municipality category.
Tapaz Mayor Roberto Nonong Palomar and the village chief, officials and Lupong Tagapamayapa of Candelaria personally received the award.
