Ladies and gents, Rolando Dy is back.
After a rollercoaster ride for the prized MMA fighter in the past months, Dy impressed and re-introduced his name in a hard-fought win against Maciek Gierszewski in BRAVE CF 42.
People in Bahrain went crazy after the two fighters went at each other and traded blows to target an early finish in the match.
Dy looked loose in the fight after trying several takedown attempts to take the fight mostly to the ground but to no avail.
Knowing the ground-game strategy won’t work, Dy switched gears and transitioned to a striking game where he hit his opponent with clean straight jabs and scored a lot on his clean leg kicks.
Dy’s leg kicks came out to be helpful for the match as it served as a counter every time Gierszewski attempted to surge towards him and look for a takedown.
‘’I never say no to anyone, I’m always ready to fight, even on short notice. BRAVE Nation knows that. I’m ready,” said Dy.
After the win, the emotional Dy fell to his knees with the Philippine flag around his shoulders and savored the moment.
