Roger Federer shakes off retirement talks

Considered to be the greatest tennis player of all time, Roger Federer isn’t ready to deal with retirement talks.

Federer put a lid on rumors about his retirement by joining the 2019 Shanghai Masters, notching his first-round win against Albert Ramos-Vinolas in straight sets.

Federer, who is already 38 years old, still has plenty left in the tank despite not getting that last grand slam he was aiming at.

Still making the semifinals of every tournament he joins, the Swiss Maestro is proving that he ages like wine, getting better as he gets older.

The opportunity to see the living legend still play at a high level against these emerging talents is a sight to see for the tennis community.

With a passion for the game still burning in Federer, he said retirement is still not on his mind, and his focus is now on his training, how to get even better, and win the prized grand slams that he preciously wants.
