The Rotary Club of Iloilo marked its 89th Charter Anniversary in a simple yet intimate gathering on April 30, 2022 at Spring Palace Restaurant in Mandurriao, Iloilo City.
Past District Gov. Enrique “Eking” Arguelles and District Gov.-elect John Michael “Kano” Ng were the guest speakers of the celebration.
PDG Eking Arguelles urged Life Changing Pres. Franz Angelo and President-elect Wil Mana-ay to keep the Mother Club of District 3850 alive and relevant by keeping at heart the Rotary ideal of Service Above Self.
DGE Kano Ng urged RC Iloilo members to join him in Imagining Rotary as it faces new challenges in the current times.
The anniversary bash also recognized Exemplary Life-Changing Rotarian Awardees PP Manny Posecion, PP Sen Rafael III, and PP Dhudz Berondo. The awards were given during 2022 District Convention of RI District 3850 in Zamboanga City on April 23, 2022.
