Rald Ricafort, Shaq del Los Santos to lead PVL All-Star teams

The head coaches for the Premier Volleyball League All-Star teams were officially announced on Thursday ahead of the 2026 Volleyball All-Star Showcase, set for May 1 in Candon City.

PLDT’s Rald Ricafort will lead Team Heart, while Cignal’s Shaq del Los Santos will take charge of Team Hustle in the PVL All-Star Game.

Ricafort’s High Speed Hitters finished the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference preliminary round with a 7-2 win-loss record to top the standings, while del Los Santos’ Super Spikers followed closely in second place at 6-3.

Their teams’ strong performances earned both coaches the nod to helm the All-Star teams.

Fans can still vote for the starters of the Volleyball All-Star Showcase until April 11 at https://pvl.ph/allstar.

The starting lineups will be revealed Monday on Cignal’s daily sports show “Starting Lineup.”

The seven reserve players will be selected through a comprehensive voting process involving head coaches, players, team managers, the PVL Control Committee, referees and the technical committee, broadcast and production staff, and the PVL Press Corps, with the results set for April 20.
