The Philippine Statistics Authority–Guimaras Provincial Statistical Office (PSA-Guimaras) exceeded its National ID registration target for the first quarter of 2025, registering 2,653 individuals and surpassing its goal of 1,830 by 45%.
“This milestone reflects the agency’s continued efforts to bring PhilSys services closer to Guimarasnons through targeted outreach, partnerships, and innovative strategies,” said Provincial Statistics Officer Nelida B. Losare.
Among the Q1 registrants were 860 children aged 0 to 4 years old under the Rehistro Bulilit campaign, as well as 28 Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs).
Across municipalities, Jordan led the numbers with 1,212 registrants, followed by Buenavista with 821, Nueva Valencia with 359, and San Lorenzo with 261.
Losare also highlighted another major achievement in Q1 2025—the first-ever National ID Information Dissemination Caravan in Guimaras.
The initiative began with a motorcade and PhilSys on Wheels registration drive at Jordan Wharf, followed by courtesy visits to local agencies and institutions.

Among the visited offices were the Guimaras Island Transport Multipurpose Cooperative (GITMC), Municipal Hall of Jordan, Guimaras State University (GSU), and the local offices of DTI, DOLE, and DepEd.
The caravan continued to the Nueva Valencia local government unit for mobile registration activities.
It concluded with a public program at the Nueva Valencia Municipal Plaza, where Losare discussed the three types of National ID—the PVC PhilID, ePhilID, and Digital PhilID—and their uses in both government and private transactions.
She acknowledged the support of the MSWDO, municipal civil registrars, local chief executives, and the Guimaras community for their continued support not only of PhilSys but of all PSA initiatives.
During the open forum, PhilSys personnel addressed frequently asked questions regarding the validity of ePhilIDs and procedures for updating civil registry data.
The event registered 59 individuals, authenticated 88 4Ps beneficiaries, and assisted 11 individuals in generating their Digital National ID.
Losare said the campaign aims to improve public understanding of the National ID system and reinforce PSA-Guimaras’ commitment to inclusive service delivery.
“With its outstanding first-quarter performance and the success of its first National ID information dissemination event, PSA-Guimaras sets a strong precedent for the rest of the year, promoting an efficient, inclusive, and trusted PhilSys,” she said.
