Poetika at Horn Pub

POETIKA, an evening of Poetry and Other Expressions is a monthly meetup of Ilonggo artists to celebrate poetry and other oratory performances by Ilonggos. The monthly event started in 2016 and has been growing since then.

Last month, they held their event in Iloilo Museum of Contemporary Art (ILOMOCA).

This month Poetika, in partnership with Daily Guardian, was held in Horn Pub in Paseo de Arcangeles in Mandurriao.

We would like to invite everyone who is interested in the arts particularly in poetry and the like to attend next month’s Poetika in Horn Pub. The event will be on May 31, from 7 p.m. onwards. To get the latest updates on the event, they can check out the official Facebook event page – Poetika – An Open Mic Night. Everyone is very welcome as no sign-up is required and no experience is necessary.

Attendees can look forward to a variety of poetic styles and content from the artists who will share their own pieces. If they are into writing, they can also participate as Poetika is an open mic event where everyone is given the opportunity to perform on stage.
