PLDT Home has launched a prepaid fiber internet offer designed to help families support students’ educational needs while staying within budget.
For a one-time payment of PHP 999, which includes both modem and installation fees, families receive 30 days of unlimited fiber internet with speeds of up to 50 Mbps.
The plan, part of the PLDT Home Fiber Prepaid service, aims to turn households into reliable study spaces where learning continues beyond school hours.
After the initial free month, users can top up using flexible and affordable options, including PHP 50 per day, PHP 199 per week, PHP 399 for 15 days, or PHP 699 for an additional month.
The prepaid setup allows students to stay connected on a day-to-day basis without committing to long-term contracts, making fiber-speed internet more accessible to budget-conscious households.
“For students, success often comes down to having the right tools so they can accomplish deadlines, submit excellent projects, and have access to extensive research platforms,” PLDT said in the release.
With loading costs starting as low as PHP 23 per day, students can access online lectures, group video calls, and heavy digital resources without worrying about lags or interruptions.
Even during #WalangPasok days or severe weather, the service enables uninterrupted virtual learning and assignment completion from home.
The program addresses the increasing reliance on digital tools in hybrid and remote learning environments, where stable internet has become essential to academic performance.
“Choosing Fiber Prepaid is not just about connectivity; it’s about making sure their children have consistent support to meet today’s demanding school environment and, more importantly, a stronger chance to succeed in the future,” PLDT added.
