BACOLOD CITY — Four individuals were arrested in separate anti-drug operations across the two Negros provinces, leading to the seizure of suspected shabu worth PHP 539,920 on Jan. 21 and 22.
In Negros Oriental, the Provincial Police Office (NORPPO) apprehended a high-value individual and confiscated 54 grams of suspected shabu valued at PHP 369,920 during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Calabnugan, Sibulan, on Thursday.
A day earlier, police in Victorias City, Negros Occidental, arrested three suspects in Barangay 6 after allegedly recovering 25 grams of suspected shabu worth PHP 170,000.
Authorities identified the suspects as “Rodell,” 36; “Makoy,” 29; and “Rady,” 38, all residents of the city.
Police attributed the success of the operations to the strong coordination and dedication of the involved units in advancing peace, security, and public order across both provinces.
They also reaffirmed their commitment to intensify efforts in combating illegal drug activities and protecting communities from the harmful effects of narcotics.
