KAYA FC-Iloilo crushed Mendiola FC 1991, 5-0, in the Philippines Football League.
Connor Tacagni scored the opening goal for Kaya in the 25th mark of the first half.
11 minutes after Tacagni’s conversion, Jordan Mintah followed up on the offensive end to give Kaya a 2-0 lead at the half.
As the second half started, Kaya surged and penetrated easily, cruising past Mendiola’s defense consistently.
Negrense Jayson Panhay added to the Kaya tally, contributing a well-placed goal for extra cushion, 3-0.
Mintah sealed the game with a hat-trick, adding another 2 goals to his stat-line to give Kaya the dominant win.
With the victory, Kaya now shares top position honors with rival Ceres Negros FC, with 22 points each.
