Philippine Airlines (PAL) has officially relaunched Mabuhay Magazine, its iconic inflight publication, marking a new era in the flag carrier’s legacy of celebrating Filipino culture and global travel.
The launch event took place at the historic Blackbird Restaurant in Makati and featured a two-part program, beginning with an afternoon tea trade launch and followed by a 7:00 PM after-party for PAL executives, tourism officials, creatives, and media partners.
Long recognized as a window into the Philippines and the world, Mabuhay Magazine returns with a modern redesign and a renewed editorial direction that captures the spirit of today’s global traveler while honoring the Filipino identity.
The revamped publication promises immersive travel narratives, striking visuals, and inspiring features that reflect PAL’s commitment to excellence both in the air and on the ground.
Most notably, the magazine aims to spotlight stories of Filipino excellence around the world, highlighting achievements, innovations, and journeys that resonate with the global Filipino community.
Co–Editors-in-Chief Pauline Juan and Erwin Romulo will lead the magazine’s creative direction, blending cultural storytelling with contemporary perspectives.
“This relaunch reflects Mabuhay’s reinvention,” said Alvin Miranda, PAL Vice President – Marketing.
“The magazine continues to be a trusted companion onboard, but it now also serves as a bridge for brands, destinations, and people who share our passion for travel and the Filipino way of hospitality,” Miranda added.
Beyond print, Mabuhay now extends its presence through PAL’s inflight entertainment system, airport lounges, and digital platforms, offering expanded opportunities for multimedia storytelling and brand partnerships.
With its refreshed design and editorial voice, Mabuhay Magazine reaffirms its name as a celebration of life, travel, and all things distinctly Filipino.
