Philippine Airlines (PAL) has launched the myPAL eSIM, a digital mobile solution offering 1GB of free data to international passengers, in partnership with global eSIM provider Kolet.
The new service aims to simplify connectivity for travelers by removing the need for physical SIM cards and avoiding high roaming fees.
Each myPAL eSIM comes with 1GB of complimentary data valid for two days, enabling users to access messaging apps, maps, and travel services upon arrival abroad.
“The introduction of myPAL eSIM aligns with our vision of providing a complete and digitally empowered travel experience,” said PAL Vice President for Revenue Management Christoph Gaertner.
“We are proud to offer our passengers a solution that not only simplifies connectivity but also enhances their overall journey with Philippine Airlines,” Gaertner added.
Passengers can redeem the free data via the PAL Kolet co-branded website or through the Kolet mobile app by entering the promo code FLYPAL.
Once the initial 1GB is consumed, users can top up through either platform with a selection of regional and global data plans, some of which offer coverage for up to 30 days.
Kolet’s network operates in over 190 countries, covering all PAL destinations with reliable mobile data powered by leading telecommunications providers.
PAL said the launch of myPAL eSIM is part of its broader digital strategy to create a seamless and efficient travel experience from booking to arrival.
