The Philippine Electricity Market Corporation (PEMC) reached another milestone today as it was one (1) of seven (7) companies that received an award from the U.S.-based non-governmental organization (NGO), Center for Resource Solutions in the Renewable Energy Market Asia event in Singapore on 29 April 2024.
PEMC president Elvin Hayes E. Nidea and Market Development Senior Manager Dece Marwil B. Falar were in attendance to receive the award which recognizes establishments that promote and expand renewable energy in Asia.
President Nidea said, “This award gives us so much pride in the recognition of the tireless work done by team PEMC in its preparation for the opening of the Philippine Renewable Energy Market.”
The other awardees include: Asia Clean Energy Coalition, BASF Asia Pacific, Clean Energy Buyers Institute (CEBI), CLP Power Hong Kong Limited, Corporate Renewable Energy Foundation (CREF), and Powertrust.
