PDIC sets Oct. 29–30 e-bidding for assets

The Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) will sell real properties and transportation equipment through an electronic public bidding on October 29–30, 2025 to maximize recovery from closed bank assets and bolster funds for deposit insurance and creditor settlements.
Online bids will be accepted via the PDIC e-bidding portal at https://assetsforsale.pdic.gov.ph starting 9:00 a.m. on October 29, 2025 until 1:00 p.m. on October 30, 2025, with bid opening at 2:00 p.m. on October 30, 2025.
For disposal on an as-is-where-is basis are closed bank and corporate assets consisting of 34 vacant agricultural lots, 15 vacant residential lots, eight residential lots with improvements, three agricultural lots with improvements, two commercial lots with improvements, two mixed residential/agricultural lots with improvements, one mixed commercial/residential lot with improvements, one mixed vacant residential/agricultural lot, one agricultural lot, two vehicles, and one generator set.
With lot sizes of up to 8.2 hectares, the real properties are located in Aklan, Apayao, Batangas, Bohol, Camarines Sur, Capiz, Cavite, Cebu, Ilocos Norte, Isabela, La Union, Laguna, Leyte, Mindoro Occidental, Misamis Oriental, Negros Oriental, Pangasinan, Sultan Kudarat, Tarlac, and Zamboanga del Norte.
The vehicles and generator set are in Barcenaga, Naujan, Oriental Mindoro.
Prospective buyers may join the e-bidding after a one-time registration at https://assetsforsale.pdic.gov.ph/Account/Register or by clicking the “Assets for Sale” icon on www.pdic.gov.phand, once registered, can submit bids online.
Interested parties are encouraged to review the full property catalog, requirements, e-bidding process, and Conditions of Bid on the portal and to conduct due diligence on their target properties, including verifying actual condition, status, ownership, and other circumstances.
Winning bidders of agricultural properties must submit within 15 days after the e-bidding a Certification from the Department of Agrarian Reform’s Provincial Agrarian Reform Officer stating that the lot is not covered by CARP and has no Emancipation Patent or Certificate of Land Ownership Award issued, and an Affidavit of Aggregate Landholdings attesting that the bidder’s total landholdings—including the property to be acquired—do not exceed the five-hectare legal limit, with prescribed forms available for free from the portal’s Download Center.
Participants bidding on behalf of another person or an organization may also download for free the Pro-forma Special Power of Attorney and the Secretary’s Certificate from the e-bidding portal.
As statutory receiver of closed banks, PDIC liquidates remaining assets to help pay claims of closed bank creditors, with proceeds from sales of closed bank properties going to a fund managed for these banks to settle creditor claims and revenues from corporate asset sales augmenting the Deposit Insurance Fund that finances valid deposit insurance claims.
