PDIC launches digital portal for faster public services

The Philippine Deposit Insurance Corp. has launched an enhanced corporate website and its first electronic portal, MyPDIC, to make its services more accessible to banks, depositors, borrowers and other stakeholders.
The platforms were unveiled during the state deposit insurer’s 63rd anniversary program on July 1, 2026, at the PDIC Chino Building in Makati City.
The launch marked a major step in PDIC’s digital transformation as the agency seeks to provide faster, more convenient and client-focused public services.
“These platforms will make our services more accessible, efficient, and responsive to the needs of the public,” PDIC President and CEO Roberto B. Tan said.
Department of Information and Communications Technology Undersecretary for E-Government David L. Almirol Jr. said the initiative showed how government agencies could use technology to bring public services closer to citizens.
“The MyPDIC e-portal is a concrete example, a testimony, that modernization can actually happen. It’s not just about innovation. It’s about bringing government services closer to the people,” Almirol said.
The redesigned PDIC website features a modern and mobile-friendly interface that provides easier access to information on deposit insurance, administrative issuances, corporate publications, public advisories, procurement projects and other services.
Integrated into the website is MyPDIC, a secure one-stop online platform intended to reduce the need for clients to personally visit PDIC offices.
The portal is linked to the agency’s existing systems and serves banks, depositors and borrowers of closed banks, asset buyers and job applicants.
Bank representatives may receive notices and advisories, submit regulatory reports and monitor the status of audits through the portal.
They may also request certifications, PDIC decals and standees, and schedule briefings and orientations.
Depositors of closed banks may use MyPDIC to update their records, file and monitor deposit insurance claims, and receive real-time updates through email notifications.
Borrowers of closed banks may access loan account information, inquire about outstanding balances and make loan payments online.
They may also request and download statements of account, cancellations of mortgage, certificates of full payment and application forms for PDIC’s Closed Bank Loan Incentive Program.
Asset buyers may browse available properties, join public electronic bidding activities and upload bidding requirements through the platform.
Job applicants may search for vacancies, submit applications and documentary requirements, and monitor the progress of their applications.
PDIC said the mobile-responsive portal was designed to be flexible and scalable, allowing the agency to introduce additional services and future enhancements as stakeholder needs and technology evolve.
The agency said the website and portal would support efforts to modernize its systems, improve operational efficiency and comply with national government digitalization policies and regulations.
PDIC was established on June 22, 1963, under Republic Act 3591 to protect depositors and help maintain stability in the financial system.
It is an attached agency of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and a member of the Financial Sector Forum, Financial Stability Coordination Council and Financial Inclusion Steering Committee.
