PDEA-Negros Occ seizes P102,000 worth of ‘shabu’

BACOLOD City – An alleged target-listed drug personality in Western Visayas was busted with P102,000 worth of suspected shabu at Purok Lirio, Barangay Antipolo, Pontevedra, Negros Occidental last Sunday.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Negros Occidental identified the subject as Agusto Hoquire, a farmer.
PDEA and the town police force seized 15 grams of suspected shabu and the P500 marked money from the suspect.
Police Major Romulo Gepilango, town police chief, said the suspect is also included in the drugs watchlist of the police station.
He is also considered a high value individual, according to Gepilango.
Charges for violation of Sections 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) and 11 (illegal possession of dangerous drugs) of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being readied against the suspect.
