BACOLOD City – A man was stabbed dead by his father inside their house at Barangay Codcod, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental last Saturday.
Killed was Jimmy Yanquin, 33.
Police Major Mark Angelo Junco, city police chief, said Yanquin was allegedly attacked by his father Wenceslao, 53, following a heated argument between them.
“Pirmi na sila abi ga away nga duwa,” the police chief added.
The suspect probably got irked during their confrontation, which triggered him to commit the crime, Junco said.
Yanquin succumbed to multiple stab wounds.
The suspect was pacified by their neighbors and was arrested by the police.
Junco said the family has yet to decide on the filing of the case.
