ROXAS CITY, Capiz — A 30-year-old businessman wanted for qualified theft was arrested by police Tuesday morning, June 30, in Barangay San Ramon, Pilar, Capiz.
Police identified the suspect as alias “Paul,” a resident of the barangay.
He is wanted for qualified theft through falsification of a commercial document under Article 310 of the Revised Penal Code.
The court recommended PHP 40,000 bail for his temporary liberty.
The warrant of arrest was issued by Regional Trial Court Judge Jose Mauricio E. Gomez of Branch 71, Sixth Judicial Region, in Barotac Viejo, Iloilo.
The suspect is under the custody of the Pilar Municipal Police Station for proper disposition and court referral.
