P2M lost to Roxas City fire

ROXSS CITY, Capiz – An estimated P2,112,000 worth of properties were lost to a fire that razed a house at Fuentes Subdivision, Barangay XI here Thursday last week.
FO3 Jonel Cortez, arson investigator of the Roxas City Fire Station, said candles inside the house of the Clarito family may have caused the fire.
The family were using candles because of the power blackout in the area.
The daughter of Wendel Clarito was first to notice to the conflagration and shouted for help.
The house was made of mixed materials and has seven rooms being rented by boarders.
No one was hurt in the incident.
