BACOLOD City – The annual bonus of P25,000 for each regular and casual employee of the Negros Occidental provincial government from 2024 to 2026 is already assured.
This, after the Sangguniang Panlalawigan approved during its regular session on Tuesday the 3-year Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) between the provincial government and the Progressive Alliance of Capitol Workers (PACE).
PACE president Ruben Diamante said the present CNA, which is expected to end in December 2023, is subject to renewal every three years.
Diamante said only 2,270 regular and casual employees can avail of the P25,000 incentive.
Non-members who want to avail of the perk should pay a P2,280 agency fee, which is equivalent to 1-year membership dues, he added.
Diamante said that elected officials and department heads are also entitled to receive the P25,000 incentive.
Diamante said that PACE is set to officially sign the CNA with governor Eugenio Jose Lacson as soon as the latter is available.
