P238,000 ‘shabu’ seized, two nabbed

BACOLOD City – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and police arrested two persons in separate buy-bust operations that resulted in the confiscation of P238,000 worth of suspected shabu in Negros Occidental on November 8 and 9.
In Kabankalan City, Jorelyn Ramos, 25, of Himamaylan City, was arrested by PDEA-Negros Occidental last Wednesday at Villa Concha, Barangay Hilamonan.
The drug sting operation yielded 23 grams of suspected shabu worth P156,400.
The following day, Jenny Juen was apprehended by police at Purok Makawiwili, Barangay Lantad, Silay City, for the seizure of 12 grams of suspected shabu worth P81,600.
Juen is a street level individual, according to the police.
Drug charges are being readied against the two suspects.
